On August 31, 2002, on the Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Repressions, the memorial complex “Shahidlar Hotirasi” was solemnly opened in Tashkent, dedicated to compatriots who bravely fought for the freedom of their homeland and were subjected to mass repression in the first half of the 20th century. The museum is located in one of the most picturesque areas of the city - directly opposite the Tashkent TV tower.
