Chorsu Market
One of the largest bazaars in Uzbekistan and Central Asia, located in the old part of Tashkent called “Eskishahar” on Navoi Street in the Almazar district. Chorsu Bazaar was known in the Middle Ages and was of great importance on the road of the Great Silk Road.
Kukeldash Madrasah
Kukeldash Madrasah - was built in the XVI century (1570) during the reign of the Sheibanid dynasty with a vizier, close to the Tashkent sultans Barak Khan and Dervish Khan. The vizier was nicknamed (“kukeltash” “kukeldash”), which means “milk brother of the khan”.
